My name is Daniel, welcome to my domus!

I chose to call this space 'Daniel's Domus' as an homage to the popular ancient Roman single-family home style. These houses were complete with colonnaded courtyards and were designed to create beautiful, accessible spaces for community, business, religious worship, and valuable family time. Because, you know, Rome. My goal for everyone who stumbles upon my little corner of the internet is that you find a creative, welcoming space full of art and good humour, and that you enjoy your time here!

As for what you'll find during your stay? Primarily, shameless self-promotion of my digital portfolio! I'm a 3D artist based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I have a diploma in 3D Animation and Visual Effects from Pixel Blue College in Edmonton, which I completed after finishing my Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Creative writing from the University of Alberta. Based on my educational background, it will probably come as no surprise to you that my portfolio consists of mostly 3D art (models, textures, animations, and more) and written work such as stories and poems. Education aside, I also enjoy playing video games of almost every genre, reading, bouldering, and painting in a 3D medium, such as the minis for my weekly Dungeons & Dragons campaign. I hope to feature some of those projects here soon as well! Stay tuned!
